VERY LITTLE BUSINESS. Received August 2, 9.50 a.m LONDON, Aug. I. On the Bradford tops markets at the present time business is insufficient to test the market. Topmakers are willing to inako a slight concession. Today’s quotations compare with those previously cabled as follow: July- Aug.
PURCHASES BY JAPAN. RECOR D ANTICIPATED. Received August 2, 9.30 a.m. TOKIO. Aug. 1. Importers anticipate that the year’s purchases of Australian wool will constitute a new high record, exceeding 700,000 bales, as compared with 668,000 for 1932.
