MANCHESTER UNITY, 1.0.0. F. The- fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Manawatu Lodge was held in the lodge room, Cuba Street, last evening, when Bro. E. M. Carter, N.G., presided over a large attendance. Bro. K. Bradley, V.G., extended a welcome to Bro. M. Pearce, of the Centenary Lodge, Otago, Bro. Pearce suitably re-
turning thanks. The' lodge accepted an invitation from the Loyal Kimbolton Lodge to lie present at the. installation of their officers, the arrangements being left in the hands of Bro. .1). T. Dilks, transport officer. It was decided to set up a special committee to bring before the lodge tbe possibilities of arranging visits to other districts. The lodge adjourned for halt an hour, during which an amusing competition was held. Arrangements were made to enable the older members of the juvenile lodge to visit the
I adult lodge at'its next meeting. \Mipii the lodge 5 closed supper was served bv the stewards, after wli.cl. dane.ng and games were continued well on into the evening.
