YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES. Bank shares accounted for onc-half of tho sales recorded yesterday on the Wellington Stock Exchange. Business was very brisk on a generally firm market, and gains were made by a number of issues. Bank issues were a strong market, 12 deals : being recorded. Buyers moved up to £lB 5s for Commercial of Sydney, sellers bolding for £lB 15s. National of Australasia, £5 paid, were wanted at £6 9s, an advance of 3s.
