J. \Y. SAVIDAN NOT GOING TO AUSTRALIA. J’t'r Press Association WELLINGTON, July 19. J. W. Savidan, Olympic representative and former British Empire tenmile champion, will not he available for tho trip to Australia with the New Zealand cross-country team which will compete at the Australian championships in August. This announcement was made by Savitlan upon his arrival here to-day with the Auckland team for tho cross-country championships. Savidan, said Mr IV. Morton, the manager of the Auckland team, was never running better. It is understood that business reasons have precluded his making the trip.
