DEATH IN HOSPITAL.

INQUIRY ORDERED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 16. “These coinplaints are becoming far too frequent,” said Mr W. Wallace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, when a letter was received by the hoard from Mr F. H. Quinton, of New Lynn, regarding the death of his child in Auckland Hospital. “Within the last few years they have become more numerous than at any other time during my connection with the hoard. There is something radically wrong somewhere.” Tire father alleged that his son, aged six months, had not received proper care in the hospital. Reports received from the staff denied the allegations. It was decided to hold a full inquiry into til© case.
