General Evangeline Booth, Commander -in-Chief of the Salvation Arinv, figured in an adventure while proceeding to the Scandinavian Salvationist Congress, says a Cologne report. German frontier officials visiting the train at night were dissatisfied with the passports of General Booth and two companions, because they were not vised. General Booth and her companions were allowed to proceed to Cologne to dress, hut were ordered to return to the frontier. They disobeyed, and went to Berlin, where, after considerable trouble, they were permitted to proceed to Oslo on provisional permits. *
