MR R. A. WILSON ELECTED. There having been no other nomination for the position, Mr Robert Adams Wilson, of Bulls, lias been elected to represent the Carnarvon riding on the Manawatu County Council, consequent upon that position being rendered vacant by the death of Mr J. I. McKelvie. * Mr Wilson, who was born in 18/5, is a son of the late Sir James Wilson, who was chairman of the council for a quarter of a century. He served with distinction in the Great Mar, being awarded the D.S.O. Prominently connected with the grain and sawmilling industries, Mr Wilson has had much administrative experience.
