RUGBY FOOTBALL.
MID-WEEK COMPETITION. —The mid-week Rugby competition will be advanced a further stage tomorrow when Kowliai meet Pirates on the oval at 3 p.m., and a good game should he witnessed, for theso_ two teams are at the ton of the Wednesday competition table for the Offer Cup. The curtain-raiser at 1.30 between Kia Toa and United should also provide Rugby of a good standard as these teams are evenly matched.
