The final was contested by the Paliiatua Rovers and the High School Old Girls, the honours going to the visitors by 12 goals to 7. At the conclusion of the tourney Miss Brown presented the cup to the new holders, and in so doing congratulated both teams on the standard of basketball they had produced, it having been possibly the best exhibition given in the final in the history of the tournament.
