the new sloor SYDNEY, May 2. The new sloop, H.M.S. Wellington, on her maiden voyage to the New Zealand station to replace H.M.b. Laburnum, arrived completely unheralded at Sydney to-day. She called here to refuel. | . Her officers and ratings were delightat their arrival at a large city, whore they could obtain news, get a real meal, and have a look at theatres and stadiums. The sloop, which is of 1300 tons, left England on February 5, making only short stops at Mediterranean and Near East ports.
