THE RECENT CONGRESS. LONDON, March 14. Cardinal Macßorv, Papal Legate, after presenting his report on the Melbourne Eucharistic Congress to the Vatican, has reached London. Interviewed by the Australian and New Zealand Press Association, lie said that he found His Holiness in good health and exceedingly interested in details of the Congress. At the end of a 35 minutes’ audience the Pope expressed himself as highly pleased with its success. He believed the Congress would advance the faith beneath the Southern Cross.
