ENFORCEMENT IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, March 13. The Minister of Transport (Mr L. Hore-Belisha) has made an order imposing from March 18 the 30 nines an hour speed limit provided for in the Road Traffic Act of 1034 on roads m “built-up areas.” . . In the metropolitan district special police cars with plain clothes officers will patrol roads and co-operate with uniformed and plain clothes police on foot in enforcing the speed limit and reporting infringements.
