TRUCK OVERTURNS.

SEVERE INJURIES SUSTAINED. (From Our Own Corespondent.) BULLS, March 12. At about 2.50 p.m. yesterday a small truck overturned while traversing the Greatford-Bulls Road, with the result that Air AJ. Homes, a well known resident of Parewanui, sustained severe head injuries. A youth was thrown out and rendered un-' conscious, but rallied later, while a little girl escaped without injury. As far as can be ascertained there were no witnesses of the accident, but the truck appears to have skidded in loose metal, and to have somersaulted two or three times. The unfortunate motorists were carried into the residence of Air Toms, near Curl’s bridge, and a doctor and Constable Ede were promptly on the scene. Air Homes was reported to be in a very serious condition, and received medical attention in preparation for transport to hospital.
