THE GREEK WARFARE.
BULGARIA’S WATCHFUL EYE. Received March 9, 12.55 o.m. SOFIA, March 8. King Boris, presiding over the War Conned, said that measures had been taken to prevent Turkish propaganda among Bulgarian Moslems. The Times’s Istanbul correspondent says the Yavuz, formerly the Goeben, and other warships, have departed for the Dardanelles to protect the islands adjacent to Turkey. Athens reports that the Chios and Syra branches of the Bank of Greece have destroyed £300.000 worth of banknotes to prevent the rebels securing them.
THRACE UNDER REBELS
ADVANCE ON SALONIKA.
Received March 9, 1.45 p.m. SOFIA, March 8
The rebels are reported to have taken possession of almost all Thrace and are advancing towards Salonika under a. son of M. Venizelos. The Greek frontier is closed, but no attempt has been made to enter Bulgaria. The Greek frontier guards display divided sympathies.
