Among the patients in hospital in Wellington arc Miss K. Svnnott and Mr Cb> Ttiek. of Otaki. Mrs J. D. Howell is still an inmate of an hospital here, and is in a serious state of health. Airs Roxburgh, who is aged 96, is also very ill. Mrs Nicolson, who has been confined to her bed. is making steady progress. Mr E. Granfiold also is very ill. , Ail unfortunate accident, happened to Mr W. Gordon yesterday. While cutting a hedge the reaper missed its mark and gashed his. hand, necessitating five stitches in a painful wound. • Miss Cox who has boon matron at the Health Camp, lias left for the south. _ The vacancy has been filled by Miss Spring. A fire broke out in the lupins at the health camp yesterday and rapidly spread towards the buildings. However, the fire brigade was quickly on the scone and soon subdued the outbreak.
