RESEARCH BY ROCKETS. A SOVIET INVENTION. Received March 5, 9.25 a.m. LONDON, March 4. The Manchester Guardian’s Moscow correspondent says that rockets slipt 200 miles into the air by powerful charges of liquid oxygen are the latest plan to penetrate the stratosphere. The rockets- will be equipped with “electric brains” in the form of automatic registering Instruments for observing and recording phenomena at different strata. When the rocket reaches its “ceiling” a parachute automatically opening, will float the instruments to earth.
