61ST ANNUAL FIXTURE. TO-MORROW’S FIELDS. (By “Binocular.”) Dating back to 1875, when the first llangitikci Cup was run, this race ranks as one of the oldest of its kind in the Dominion, being as old as the Auckland Cup and one year younger than the Wellington Cup. To-morrow will witness tho 61st contest, and although the field may not contain horses equal to the stalwarts of the past, it should bo full of interest.. A seven-race programme will be presented and, with excellent fields being carded in every instance, patrons should be treated to a good day's racing.
