CONTROL OF BROADCASTING.

AMENDMENTS TO LEGISLATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. IG. Apparently the Government lias not yet completed the details of the proposed amendment to the legislation governing the control of radio broadcasting in New Zealand. This was indicated in an interview with the Postmaster-General (Hon. Adam Hamilton), when the Minister passed through Christchurch on his way north. Mr Hamilton said he ooiild not announce any details of the plans which the Government had for broadcasting or what direction the amendment to the legislation was likely to take. They still had to he discussed. He gave the same reply when asked whether it. was intended to increase the membership of the Broadcasting Board or make any oilier alteration in the personnel.
