Over four thousand Spanish nobilities attended the wedding of Infanta Beatrice and Prince Allesandro. ExKing Alfonso gave the Infanta awav. The Pope gave an audience to the couple after the ceremony. They are honeymooning in the United States. Queen Ena remained in London. Ller secretary said: I cannot give a reason for Her Majesty not going to Rome.

“No, no, it’s all quite untrue,” exKing Alfonso’s secretary told the Daily Mail, when questioned by telephone about the rumoured separation from ex-Queen Ena.
