BOXING.
Per Press Association. HASTINGS, Nov. 30. In a professional boxing match at Napier to-night, Kmickey (Hastings), Bst 81b, beat Frank Taylor, (Auckland), Bst. 61b, on a technical knock-out in the ninth round. Taylor was sent to the floor four times in the fourth round and several times in the succeeding rounds. In the ninth he was down thrice for counts of nine, eight, and nine. The fourth time the referee, Mr Donovan, stopped the bout.
