NOTES.

The Russian missionary worker, Miss Natalie Grustenkova, gave a vivid word picture of latter-day conditions in the Soviet Union to a large assemblage of women in the Salvation Army citadel on Thursday afternoon. The Soviet system, she stated, was very Godless, and her audience could believe the worst they heard or read of Russia. The speaker was accorded a vote of thanks by Mrs C. E. Taylor. Miss Gruslienkova spoke in the evening at St. Paul’s Hall, where Rev. E. 0. Blamires presided, and was supported by Rev. D. R. McDonald and Rev. H. W. Page.
