OBITUARY.
MR B. MERRITT,
The passing of Mr Benjamin Merritt, of Mt. Biggs, at the age of 70 years, was learned with deep regret by all who knew him, and the sympathy of their many friends has been extended to the bereaved family. Mr Merritt came to the Feilding district from Hawke’s Bay, and after farming for some years at Colyton he retired to live in Feilding. Subsequently he took up fanning again at M.t. Biggs where his death took place on Thursday.
