MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

Michael William Lynch, aged 29, appeared before Messrs J. T. Boswortli and W. L. Black, J.P.’s, in the Magistrate’s Court at Palmerston North, yesterday, on a charge that atFeilding, on October 18 last, and at divers dates between them and November 8, he did, with intent to defraud, obtain £136 3s from Arthur James Anderson by falsely representing that he had £520 coming to him from a family estate. Accused, for whom Mr T. F. Relling appeared. was remanded until December 7 on the application of Sen-ior-Detective Quirke. it was made a condition of his bail that he report to the police daily.
