TEACHER’S APPEAL.

DECISION FOR PLAINTIFF. Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, Nov. 23. The teachers’ Court of Appeal has announced its decision in the case of Mr R. J. Thompson, principal of the Technical Hi;x.h School, who appealed aganst his suspension for a month consequent on his refusal to sign and publish a letter submitted 1m the board following publication by the Guardian of two letters written by Mr Thompson on’ the subject of amalgamation with the High School. The decision of the Court is that appellant was wrongly suspended and the appeal is allowed. It is ordered that appellant be reinstated as from the date on which he was suspended, that appellant receive compensation for the Loss of salary during his suspension, and that the costs, £6 2s, he paid in equal -shares by (lie parties. \
