A record price for the Melbourne wool sales this season was established when extra super Merino realised 17Jd. The market is generally very firm. The Brisbane wool sales closed with keen general competition. Fleece wools showed a hardening tendency, while all other sorts were firm. Greasy sorts sold to 16d and scoured to 25|d. THE LONDON SERIES. OPENING RATES HELD. Received November 23, 11.20 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 22. At the wool sales, 10,173 bales were offered, including 2684 from New Zealand, while 7966 Australian and New Zealand were sold. The offerings were largely Merinos. There was a brisk H-ome and Continental demand at full opening rates. New Zealand halfbred lamb slipe, branded Kaiap-oi, reached 12 id and averaged 10|d. THE BRADFORD MARKET. A QUIET TONE.
