LODGE MEETING.

N.G. Sister E. M. Shepherd presided at the quarterly meeting of members of Loyal Manchester Lodge, 1.0.0. F., on Wednesday night, there being also present visitors from Gisborne, Mangatainoka, Apiti and Great Western (London) lodges. One candidate was initiated and one proposed. A challenge for the Salek sports cup was received from Loyal Manawatu Lodge (Palmerston North) and accepted for playing on December 5. Bro A. G. F idler won the Chureher rose bowl for the third time, and it now becomes his property. Invitations from Loyal | Manawatu, Wanganui, and Marton Lodges to the installation of officers were received and accepted.
