SANDON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) SANDON, Nov. 21. A happy surprise evening was spent at the residence of Mr and Mrs T. H. The team to play High School at Feilding on Saturday will be selected from Reeve, Murphy, Kent, Lumsden, Andrew, Meads, Montgomerie, Conwell, . Sadler, Smith, Brock, McElroy and Hancock.
It was pleasing to note the improved team playing for Feilding B on Saturday and they were a trifle unlucky in not scoring a straight out win. The veteran F. Dewe batted solidly and was well supported by Ruddell. With Reid, Allen, and Gibbs playing regularly, other teams will need to step lively. For Sandon Meads and Reeve were best with the bat, but the latter was lucky. Kent and McElroy both bowled well.. Sadler was out of luck, being, run out in the first innings and in the second he was bowled by a trimmer.
