LAND IN ANTARCTIC.

INTERESTING DISCOVERY. LITTLE AMERICA, Nov. 20. Returning from his third aerial exploration, Sir Harold June reported that he had discovered an elevated land mass running indefinitely to tlie east and south of the Edsel Ford range and meeting the lofty roof of Marie Byrd Land. In addition to substantially extending the discoveries of the two previous flights, Mr June’s findings also broaden American claims to this area.

Rear-Admiral Byrd believes that the laud found establishes a link between the Andes Mountains of South America and the mountains of west Antarctica. The observations taken also further substantiate Rear-Admiral Byrd’s theory that Antarctica is two continents divided by a water passage.
