BEQUEST BY WIDOW.

TO PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 20. A bequest of approximately £3400 has been made by the will of Mrs Sophie Gardner to the Christchurch Presbyterian Social Service Association. The amount represents one-third of Mrs Gardner’s residuary estate, valued at about £IO,OOO. Mrs Gardner, who died in September, was the widow of Mr William R. Gardner, a well-known miller in Rangiora and Christchurch.
