EVIDENCE IN ANTARCTICA
MONTREAL, Nov. 19 Tho Little America Expedition’s biplane, this time in charge of Mr Harold June, made a second flight into the Antarctic wastes in an effort to find a safe passage for the tractor party from a cul-de-sac in crevasses traversing the 81st parallel. After an aerial survey of the area requiring about six hours, June returned and reported that it was seemingly impossible for the tractors to continue further. In fact, it appeared fortunate that they went as far as they did without misfortune. The tractors will probably be recalled, but even returning to the base will be diffiJune declared that the second flight further substantiated the conclusions Rear-Admiral Byrd reached that the continent was divided by a sea level passage. More unique crevasse formations were found that positively indicate a transcontinental seaway.
