ISSUE OF RATIONS.
HOSPITAL HOARD RKLIEP. Rations issued by the social welfare officer of the Palmerston North Hospital Hoard during October numbered 540 to 72 cases in the whole district, including 340 to 43 eases in Palmerston North. During Octolrer, 1933, some 592 rations were issued to 70 cases in the whole district, including 307 to 44 cases in Palmerston North.
Charitable relief accounts passed lor payment by the Hospital Hoard, yesterday altenioon, amounted to £273 5s 9d. including £lOl 19s 2d for rent and board, £ll2 0s 4tl lor rations, £l4 14s for dentures and spectacles, and £24 10s for funerals.
