DROWNED IN LAKE.

LITTLE GIRL’S DEATH. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Nov. 19. Advice was received by the Invercargill police this evening that Eunice Margaret Dixon, aged two, a daughter of Mr Douglas Dixon, a relief worker at the Kingston end of Queenstown Road, fell into Lake Wakatipu to-day and was drowned. The body was recovered by relief workers, who tried artificial respiration but without success.
