PRAISE FOR AFFORESTATION. LONDON, Nov. 18. The Times, in a leader, commends the New Zealand forestry policy, extols Lord Bledisloe’s activities in that connection, and emphasises the necessity for increased education of the public regarding the possibilities of New Zealand timbers. It adds that Britain’s demand for timber is greater than ever and trade in it with New Zealand only awaits marketing skill in order to grow.
