AUCKLAND, Nov. 5

The case in which a claim for £3OOO damages was made in the Supreme Court to-day by Marjorie Shakleton, a 22-year-old machinist, against Robert John Ellis, labourer, for alleged permanent partial incapacitation following an accident was concluded this afternoon.

The jury awarded £1750 general damages and £267 special damages.
