PAHIATUA, Nov. 5.

The Pahidtua branch of the League of Nations Union held a reading of the play “These Things Shall Be” on Saturday evening. The play depicted the possibility of anothoi World War and the manner in which the international youth movement would be able to puta stop to it by refusing to fight. At the conclusion of the play the Mayor (Mr J. I>. Wilson) thanked all who had helped. The play reading was arranged by Miss McKenny and Mrs X i* Warren and was produced by ' Miss H. Boss.
