FIRE CALLS.

The Fire Brigade answered two calls last evening, the first, at 5.15 p.m. being to No. 58 Wood Street, where -a lire had broken out in a washhouse. The outbreak was promptly dealt with. A little less than two hours later i lie brigade was called to the premises of Mr E. W. Walters. butcher, of Cuba Street, where it had to force an entry into the building to extinguish an outbreak which, fortunately, was still in its early stages when discovered .
