TRAVELLERS ON MONOWAI.

TWO BEING RETURNED. SYDNEY, Nov. 2. Two persons, a stowaway and a passenger, who arrived by the Monowai to-day, were shipped back to New Zealand by the outgoing steamer Marama.

The passenger was a Dutchman who failed to pass the dictation test, while the stowaway was discovered tile first day out from Auckland. He declared lie was a butcher from Adelaide. Another passenger, who was found in possession of more than £IOO worth of silver, was questioned by Customs officers, but the result is not known.
