GOLF DISPUTE.
KIRKWOOD AND SARAZEN’S AIATCII.
AIELBOURNE, Nov. 2. Prospects of an international golf disagreement strengthened to-day when Kirkwood affirmed his determination that he and Sarazen would play an exhibition match to-morrow. “Sure, I am in a tough spot,” said Sarazen on arrival to-day. Ho explained that he was under contract to Kirkwood, who was guaranteeing the tour. Sarazen said he could not afford to lose the guarantee. However, he came to play golf—not to fight. _ It is understood that Sarazen is keen to play in the Centenary championship. Kirkwood claims that he engaged Sarazen for a world tour, and he had not come specially for the championships. The Golf Association maintains that Kirkwood and Sarazen will not be allowed to piny in the championship it an exhibition game is played.
