PERSONAL.
Mr D. Phillips, son of Dr and Mrs E. Phillips, of Feilding, has left for the Dunedin University to sit for his final medical degree this month. Mr Phillips, who enjoyed a brilliant scholastic career, has been attached to the staff of the Auckland Hospital as house surgeon since he completed his preliminary examinations. He is an old boy of Lytton Street School, Feilding, and the New Plymouth High School. Miss M. Walsh, of Feilding, is on a visit to Paraparaumu in company with of party of Palmerston North friends. After a visit to relatives in Napier, Mrs E. C. Haybittle has returned to Feilding. Mrs W. E. L. Bank, Tamahere, Hamilton, is on a visit to relatives in the Feilding district. Mr A. J. Kellow, Feilding, manager for Messrs Levin and Coy., left yesterday on a three weeks’ holiday.
