MEAT QUOTA ISSUE.
SHI JAMES PARR’S TASK. WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. There have been no developments in the negotiations, resumed in London this week, between representatives ot New Zealand and the British Government on the meat quota issue. _ The closest cabled contact is being preserved between the New Zealand Government and the High Commissioner for New Zealand m London, Sir James Parr, but up to the present, according to an official intimation given to-day, the consultations have not reached a stage at which any pronouncement can be made.
