ALL SAINTS’ PLAYERS.
Playgoers will be interested m the announcement of the forthcoming production by the All Saints’ Players of “The Lilies of the Field.” The cast is a notable one, starring Misses Muriel and Kathleen Richards as the twins, Catherine and Elizabeth. Their parents,- Rev. John Head and his wife, are played by Mr J. T. Bosworth and Miss M. Penketh, and their worldly grandmother by Mrs Linda Bennett. The twins come to London, where Elizabeth starts an Early Victorian fashion, and they meet their fates in Mr Barnaby Hadden (Mr L. Callis) and Mr Bryan Ropc.s (Mr Brian King). Among the followers of the fashion are Lady Susan Rocker (Miss Thora Bovis) and Miss Monica Flane (Miss Phyllis Trask). The play is full of amusing situations, and the cast are all known to the Palmerston North public, all having played with the All Saints’ Players and some with other societies. The production is in the hands of Mrs Linda Bennett, whose work is well-known to Palmerston North. The play, at popular prices, is bemg, presented in aid of All Saints’ Children’s Home, and a crowded house is expected.
