Sentence of four months’ hard labour was to-day imposed on Albert Edward AVay, a married man with four children, on three charges under the Bankruptcy Act of contracting debts of over £2O without stating he was an undischarged bankrupt. The Crown Solicitor stated that accused was in the tea-room business for two months and contracted unpaid liabilities amounting to £260. Accused had a long list of previous convictions.
