FEILDING

ST. PAUL’S SUNDAY SCHOOL.

ANNUAL TEA. On Wednesday evening the annual tea and entertainment of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Sunday School was held in St. Paul’s Hall, the gathering being attended by a large number of children who found ample good things provided for them to which they did lull justice. Many adults were also present. Following tea, games and community singing formed the programme until 7.30 when the superintendent took the chair. A concert programme followed, the items comprising pianoforte solos and duets, vocal numbers and elocutionary items. The special feature of the evening were two Highland dances performed by Joyce Butler and Margery Syme, accompanied on the pipes by Pipe-Sergeant Butler. Certificates gained in the recent Sunday School Union examinations were presented by Eev. D. R.
