OTHER FIXTURES.

AVONDALE MEETING. In former years the Auckland Racing Club clashed with the C.J.C. meeting, but an adjustment was made whereby the Avondale Club now races on New Zealand Cup day. The racing at Avondale is restricted for the main part to horses from Taranaki and the northern provinces. The fields are quite good and interesting racing should result. Horses in form down to compete are: Miden Plate.—La Femme, Noire, Silver Jubilee, King Bey. Kingsland Hurdles. Chromadyne, Silver Division, Allegretto. Champion Hack Plate. —Namakia, Gay Seton, Lady Kyra. Avondale Cup.—Solarium, Royal Artist, Aga Khan. Avondale Stakes. • Galilee, Gay Shiek, Fairfax. Flying Stakes. —Gay Blonde, Star Artist, Rereatu. Swanson Handicap.—King Brierly, Ruling King, Courthaven. Henderson Handicap. —Gay Marigold, Arch Ruler, Whakapara. AT WAIPUKURAU. A third fixture set down for to-mor-row is the Waipukurau meeting, and horses who should perform creditably are: —- Tulri Tuki Hurdles.—Anemometer, Gold Ruler. Maiden Race. Mesurina, Royal Solo, Marsong. Waipukurau Hack Cup.—Hukemanu Blue Boy. Ruahine Hack.—Hest, Pukehou, Cullus. Novice States. —Pukehou, Talari, Waihine Nui. President’s Handicap. Mahora, Slippery. Spring Hack.—Windward, Inveresk.
