TEUTON METHODS
WITH ALLEGED SPIES. DEATH OR IMPRISONMENT. STATEMENT BY AUTHORITIES'. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received November 1, 11.20 a.m. BERLIN, Oct. 31. The Minister of Justice (Dr Frank) announces that a number of alleged spies in the service of foreign Powers have been secretly. sentenced to death and others to fifteen years’ hard labour.
The Minister adds that the sentences were pronounced under a new law under which every German betraying the Fatherland forfeits his head. Only such a merciless procedure against traitors corresponds with the Nazi conception of justice and wholesome feeling in Germany.
