WI-lAKARONGO, Oct. 31. The prizes at the fortnightly euchre and dance held in the hall on Tuesday night were won by the following:—Mrs Puklowski and Mr G. Smith (Ashhurst); consolations, Mrs Walker and Mr P. Tait. There were about 70 players taking part and supper was followed by a dance. The next gathering is to be the final one for the year. Mrs E. Vautier, who has been staying with Mr and Mrs R. Vautier. has returned home. Mr and Mrs McCaddie, of Wanganui, are the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Pye. Miss W. Crawford is staying in Rakanui with her sister, Mrs Peach. Miss C. Mills is a visitor to tho district and is staying with her friends. She expects to return to Nireaba on Saturday.
