FAMOUS GERMAN SPY
EXECUTION IN LONDON RECALLED. MONUMENT IN GERMANY. A PERPETUAL MEMORIAL. (United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) . Received October 31, 1.10 p.m. BERLIN, Oct. 30. A monument to the memory of the famous spy, Karl Lody, will be unveiled at his birthplace at Lubeck on November 6 —the twentieth anniversary of liis execution. The monument includes a ship’s bell which was presented by the officers of the Hamburg-Amerika Line, and which will be rung in future every November 6 at 6.30 a.m., the hour of Lody’s execution in the Tower of London.
