GIANT ’PLANE TESTED.
LITTLE AMERICA, Oct. 28 ; The giant Condor biplane which Rear-Admiral Byrd plans to use on a long-range exploratory flight was given a test flight on Saturday by Messrs Harold June and Bowlin, who pronounced the test satisfactory. RearAdmiral Byrd expects to make his first journey within a few days. The sledging party now en route to the Edsel Ford Range sent a wireless message to say that it was 108 miles east of Little America, with the temperature 37 degrees below sezo.
