CHURCH SERVICES.

CHOIR SUNDAY.

Special interest was taken in the service at the Feilding Alethodist Church 011 Sunday night, when Choir Sunday was observed. To mark the occasion all old and past members of the choir were invited to take part m the service, and in all 44 voices joined in the anthems and special music. The innovation was a complete success and those responsible for the arrangements were congratulated on their efforts. Children’s Day was observed at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church on Sunday, the preacher being Rev. Douglas Spence. At the morning service AH Spence intimated to the children that lie had once taken part in the service they were attending and had gone on to the senior class and then the Bible class. Mr Spence was also the preacher at the evening service, which was of special interest to Bible classes. AH G. Bartholomew, who trained the children for the morning service, bad charge of the choir at night also, while Air A. E. Matheson was at the organ for both services.
