TRACK WORK AT RICCARTON.

The weather was fino for training work at Ricearton this morning, tho outside of the courso proper being open for some useful galloping, though many horses who raced at Motukarara on Saturday had an easy morning. Silvox covered a mile in 1.47, but was lame afterwards. Copyist did a halt mile along tho back in 50 4-sscc. Cricket Bat and Rocket ran a mile in 1.44 and Fracas seven furlongs in 1.30 3-5, Horowhcnua and Wee Musk taking; 1.37. Horn’s Roof and Trumpet Blast did an easy milo in 1.50, and Jaloux in 1.47. Dollar Prince did half a mile in 51 3-ssec, Hororata doing it in 50 2-ssec. Custodian ran six furlongs in 1.18 3-5, the last half mile with a mate taking 51sec. Knockout and Streamline did seven furlongs in 1.32.

Mother Superior beat Aesculus over a mile in 1.46 1-5. Free Air, assisted by Horotiu, did an easy mile in_ 1.50 2-5. Variant and Hostis covered half a milc_ in 49scc.
